Aloma Elementary was one of the best things that happened to us while living in Winter Park. Mrs. Matthews over at Aloma ISSSSS Ms. Frizzle from The Magic School Bus COMBINED with Marry Poppins. Period. Period. Exclamation. She's perfection. We had her for kindergarten AND first grade (though she has now gone back to teaching kindergarten). My child started Aloma ranked #18 out of 19 in her class (because she didn`t go to preschool while we lived in MO), and she's NOW in the GIFTED program with Ms. Quinonez with a 132 IQ. She wants to be an oncologist so she can cure cancer and that's DIRECTLY a goal she got from Aloma Elementary. 100%. The principle there LIVES for his students and they have fairs, concerts, after school activities, taekwondo (that buses your kid to their facility every day after school till 6:30pm and is run by Master Eric who is- #Goals). Plus, the kids get FREE breakfast and lunches because they`re an A+ rated school; Which has been really helpful for my family. They also use an app called Dojo to communicate with parents in real time and update you on your child`s progress throughout the day as they get points for their behavior in class. Their book fairs, projects, updated technology and advanced STEAM curriculum sets them apart from other schools and I`m beyond blessed to have my daughter enrolled in this magical place of learning.
