School Reviews
2   10/5/2010
While I believe the academics they have to offer are par with what is to be expected in an upscale town, and they have an ample amount of extracurricular programs available, I do not like the way their administration handles their students. They treat too many of the students unfairly as if they are all up to no good, and are far too harsh for the most minor of infractions or just testing the limits in very normal, healthy, innocent ways. I believe it is detrimental in some cases to the students and makes matters worse in an already difficult time in their lives. Schools should make the students feel safe and nurture them, not make them feel like they are in a prison for hardened criminals. Their handling of various minor situations has caused my daughter as well as others I know of to drop out of school. Its heartbreaking and a damn shame since I entrusted my daughter to these people and they are a major part of the equation why a good girl is depressed and has given up on her education.
