School Reviews

My child has attended BTMS since 6th grade and continues to be an Honors Student in the 8th and is doing exceptionally well post- virtual pandemic Mar 2020. From the Principal, Counselors Staff and Educators (a few Drs. added to the equation) are dedicated and professional. The Reading/Math proficiency scores have improved since last reported in the 2018-19 school year as well as #diverse student enrollment. BTMS is TAG identified and had its first virtual NJHS Induction Ceremony JAN 2021 which my child was one of the Inductees. My child is preparing to take the PSAT 8/9 for High School thanks to BTMS'' AP/Honors courses. Transitioning from Middle to High is difficult if they're not prepared.

Don't walk from this school... RUN. If your child has an IEP expect to be hoodwinked, lied to and constantly told your child is doing just fine. Expect for the IEP to not be followed and to receive comments like we don't do that here or be told you cannot expect the help the IEP states! Ask for the data and you will see a different story (if they can even find the data). Still unsure? Go and watch a few classes, get a consultant to do the same. Get a full neuro-educational assessment- it costs, but is worth it.

This school is one of the best schools, I went to a different school after 6th and what was taught in 6th was what I learned in 7th Grade, the school is also still tag school, which is more advanced.
