What school district is Buckingham Collegiate Charter Academy part of?
I recently place my two children at this school back in 2018. I had heard great things about Buckingham from a close friend of mine who told me that they provided the best education. I decided to listen to her and sent my kids here. Terrible. Mistake. I remember my kids begging me to not let them go, but I reassured them that it would be fine and that they were going to have a great high school experience. After the first month, I noticed my kids acting different. They would ask ways to come home tired and seemingly sad. My daughter started to become pale and looked like she hadn't eaten in weeks. They came to me and told me that the large amount of work they were getting was causing them to be stressed. I looked past this. Kids will be kids. After a short time, I started to realize what they meant. The pressure these kids were going through was terrible. They wouldn't sleep, come down to for dinner, or have anytime to hang out with their friends due to the homework. My kids also mentioned that the school felt seemingly unsafe. The campus was extremely small, but I thought that would be a good thing. Apparently the teachers here don't give them the time of day!! They couldn't care less! The students here are also unhinged I guess you could say. Most of them vaping and sneaking alcohol in classes according to my son. The last straw, however, was when I noticed my daughter getting a bit more anxious. The environment wasn't good for her mental state whatsoever. She said she felt alone and scared 24/7. I had had it. I didn't even let my kids finish their second semester. I pulled them out right away. I do it recommend this school to anyone.

What's there to say? This school is bogus. They really need to drop the act of our education is so great and prepares you for college. The only thing they prepare us is for a typical office job. Yeh no THX. Much rather go to Vanden or Rod.
