My daughter is a second grader at Caldwell and enrolled in the dual language program. I am so impressed with how much she is growing academically and learning a 2nd language. It's such an amazing opportunity for my child to become fully bilingual by 5th grade.

My 2 older kids go to Caldwell, and I am so glad they have this dual program. My family is a combined White & Hispanic and my kids are bilingual even before they started school and I am so happy they can keep my language (Spanish) at school and learn all the subjects at school in both languages. Teachers are very helpful and all the staff is always willing to help your child succeed. I have not had any bad experience with the teachers or counselors and I really enjoy how my kids love learning languages not only English and Spanish but also other languages and how easy it gets to them because of the foundation they are getting at school!!

My daughter is a 2nd grader and her teachers are amazing. All the teachers including the principals are extremely dedicated. My daughter along with all the other students are receiving an exceptional education. The test scores have nothing to do with how the students are learning. My daughter is interracial, so it is imperative that she learn what is one of her main languages. I want her to have the opportunity to be bilingual and go on to learning other languages. Once a child learns one language, they will be encouraged to learn others. My daughter has always had support from her teachers just like every other student.

My daughter is a 2nd grader in Caldwell Elementary's two-way dual language program, and I'm consistently impressed with her language abilities. The teachers care, and the school's administration is strong. I highly recommend this school for its dedication to the students and bilingualism. It's such a joy to hear my daughter speak in a foreign language. She's receiving an elite education at a public school. Don't look at test scores alone. They don't reflect what is happening at Caldwell. The children are learning their primary subjects, but also Spanish/English at a critical point for language acquisition. Good for McKinney ISD for offering this amazing, innovative program.
