When I had an English presentation, my teacher told us to dress a certain way. I was poor and didn't have any money to buy nice clothes and had explained this to the teacher. I had tried by putting on a button-up shirt, black jeans, and some sneakers, because that's all I had. The teacher still counted points off of my presentation because of how I dressed up. When someone stole my phone, and I had some evidence on who it was and told the VP, he didn't do anything about it even though the theft happened on school property, and the person who stole my phone had stolen multiple people's phones before, even from elementary kids on the bus. One time after lunch when people went to the bathroom, they searched every single boy before letting them use the restroom. They let the boys use the weightlifting room, but not the girls. They sometimes didn''t let the girls go outside after lunch, but let the boys. One time my friends and I got in trouble because one of my friends had his arm around another because they were cold, and I said that the teachers were using their power to torment and intimidate the children once I thought we were out of earshot, but the teachers heard a little and made me come back to say what I said. Guess how they did that? By using intimidation towards me. My friends'' bus driver is mostly deaf (which is dangerous in its self) and let's the kids cuss, scream, and use racist and homophobic slurs whilst on the bus which can be mentally damaging to students who are a part of those communities, while also exposing little children to that behavior. Multiple students going to this school self mutilate and some have it visible, which is a cry for help, and is overlooked. Students are bullied for their appearance at this school, and religion is sometimes forced upon students, even though I know multiple kids who aren't religious. Sometimes in gym we are made to watch movies when we go to gym to be active, not to be forced to sit on a ground and watch movies. The school doesn't have anything to support students who are apart from communities. I have multiple trans friends who were mis gendered every day, and taunted by other students for not being born in the right body, which is something that they aren't able to help. This school wasn't a very welcoming environment for minorities, and I was disappointed.

On the billboard in front of the school says where we make everybody feel like somebody. That told me that the population is 92% white. I guess the somebody's are the blacks, Hispanics and other. They should've stated, where everyone is a star or something of that nature. Look like we have racial issues here.

We were passing by to get gas and saw they had a back to school bash . This school is amazing !! Beautiful , friendly staff , and great security !! We really are considering moving to Calhoun just to be able to enroll our kids here .
