Our students consistently perform well above state and national norms, but more importantly our teachers and administrators and community support the great education that we endeavor to offer. We feel that testing is testing, but education is so much more.
Our music programs are exceptional, with orchestra, bands, jazz bands, chorus. A very high percentage of students participate in our music program.
Our student-musicians regularly perform at a very high level at state and local music events and festivals.
All students participate in regular music and visual arts classes and our community recognizes the importance of the arts.
All students grade 5 and above can participate in athletics during every season and our teams do very well.
We have a teacher to student ratio of about 1:15.
On the technical side, all teachers and all students, grade 4-8, have laptops that utilize our campus-wide wireless network.
Parents and community are very much involved in our school ... we have a great school committee that is very supportive of good education.
