What school district is Copper Ridge School part of?
This school gets the worst PR and I don''t understand why. As a parent of three boys that have been there for over 7 years, I can honestly say my children are all thriving in their academic careers at Copper Ridge. The teachers are dedicated and the administration is always working to better the curriculum and add new and improved programs. The PTO is absolutely amazing and is a powerful voice and a source of help whenever the need arises. If you are moving to this area, I advise you to read the reviews from former students with a grain of salt. I am a parent and highly endorse this school.

CopperRidge has a beautiful campus and a great location. However, the school is hampered by a mediocre curriculum and poor communication. Teachers are not encouraged to talkmwith parents and are very rarely available. The school is very large and appointments with the principal need to be made in advance. Curriculum is "one size fits all" until 3rd or 4th grade when some advanced classes are finally offered. Unfortunately, gifted and advanced students are ignored and left to fend for themselves until then. Perfectly acceptable for the average student; however, completely lacking for the gifted child. Other schools that offer gifted programming in K-3 may be a much better fit.
