School Reviews
2   4/9/2015
As a past student of Coshocton, I can say that my class was absolutely miserable because we were not allowed to do anything fun like pep rally's and such. Our school spirit went down tremendously even though our sports were doing well. The new grading policy was introduced when I was a junior, and it was absolutely terrible! How do you expect student excel when test are 80% of their grades and if they do bad on it their grade drop drastically and homework doesn't help your grade? They say they are getting you ready for college but in reality the grading policy does not do that. Also the environment is terrible, there was a boy smoking marijuana out of a bathroom when I was a freshman! The worst part is, if you have money your child will be alright and get top of the notch treatment (unfortunately I was one of those student whose family had money and I was treated differently than my friend who didn't) however if you don't have money or the "right" last name you wont be treated correctly. It is extremely unfortunate that this school is this way because it has to potential to be great but there are many flaws and unfairness that needs to be addressed.
