School Reviews麻豆果冻传媒>5 4/10/2012I'm impressed by the wide range of academic choices at DV. I have high regard for teachers/staff who devote time & energy to achieve success on a daily basis.
I'm in awe of the the high level of talent we have at DVHS. Musical performances, sporting events and art displays are top notch.
I meet with a wide range of students in grades 9-12. I enjoy hearing about their successes individually and in group. I have an open door policy with teens who need to talk about school, home & family issues.
It's hard to evaluate aspects of the facility. The staff members (secretaries, janitors, etc)are very supportive.
As a achool social worker, I encourage communication with parents/teens to keep me posted about family issues or conflict in school.5 9/29/2009From my personal experience, Delaware Valley School District is great. It not only offers a wide variety of academics but it also has many extracurricular activities available. All students have to do is be willing to put themselves out there, work hard and take advantage to what is offered.
I believe some parents need to get more involved. I know it is hard in this day and age, with both parents having to hold down jobs, but there is nothing more important than our children, they represent our future.2 5/1/2007This schools academics are okay. They offer a wide variety of different classes for grades 9-12. This school has a band, chorus, orchestra, and symphony. Every month there is a student if the month and sports awards. There are many after school activities, most of them sports. The hallways, classrooms, gym, cafeteria, and sports fields for the most part is clean. But the bathrooms are completely filthy. There is no soap, the floor has urine all over it, only 1 sink that sometimes works, and toilets don't even flush. There isn't that much parent involvement in the school unless you are part of the PTA. The PTA though, is usually only for the parents of the popular students. For the most part the administration is okay, excluding the vice principals of the 9/10 and 11/12. These vice principals are very rude and mean, even to the parents. The level of discipline in this school is divided, if you are popular or on a sport u barley ever get in trouble, but if u not in a sport or not popular, expect the worst. For example, they are detention happy; they will give u detention for very silly things like being late 3 times.
Overall if you want to go to a school that is corrupt and all about sports, then this is the school for you.Review Delaware Valley High School. Reviews should be a few sentences in length. Please include any comments on:
