School Reviews麻豆果冻传媒>2 2/14/2015The Dever school this year (2014-2015) is at its worst. It is under staffed. There are bilingual students in classrooms with teachers that don't speak spanish as a second language where last year and years before that bilingual students had there classrooms where they had that benefit. Children lose there self esteem to perform well in the class by not wanting to partake in class activities or the teacher doesn't look to the child for input because he or she dosn't want the hassle of translating. They have what they call "Para's" where they come into a class and help assistant teacher for about 30 to 45 mins .I dont know if they have an educational background in working with children, but in my opinion is just a waste of state money having them there. K1/K2 classes should have two full time teachers because children transitioning into school need more attention. The new teachers are seem to be young which would leave me to believe lack of experience . Bring in teachers that have had the years of experience and knowledge and have there younger teacher shadow them. I believe the Dever has run its course.5 3/10/2010those that use the internet understand that just about anyone can post an entry online however everyone cannot evaluate a school, the faculty or its students.
