School Reviews麻豆果冻传媒>2 10/31/2011When Eagle Ridge first opened, Lorene Ownby was the principal and the school was wonderful. The entire staff was warm and friendly, and the education was top notch. Unfortunately, in 2010, Ms. Ownby left and was replaced by Ms. Seaberry. Ms. Seaberry is cold and unfriendly, and has turned the entire school that way. Ms. Seaberry usually has a scowl on her face during morning drop-off, has been overhead complaining about having to stay for after school events, and has generally intimidated her teachers and staff into submission. She has turned a wonderful school into a terrible one. At least in the Bluffs, most parents have entered their children into the Westlake Academy lottery, in an attempt to get them out of ERE, Things are so bad that last year's PTA president got some of her children into Westlake and pulled another child out of ERE to home school!
Until KISD makes a change, and if you have a choice, you need to seriously consider living in the ERE school district. Your better alternatives are Lone Star or Bette Perot Elementary, both of which are great schools.Review Eagle Ridge Elementary School. Reviews should be a few sentences in length.
