Based in Adlerian philsophy, there are 3 components that make us unique: Socialization, Academics, and Creative Courses; the school has been a magnet school since 1978. We are one of the few remaining I.E. schools in the country. Forest Park IE was the only Illinois school certified as a National School of Character through the University of St. Francis and Character.org. It is a 5 year designation (2020-25) which is to be celebrated! We are proud of our parent involvement, caring staff, and students who are intrinsically motivated to solve their own problems.
