School Reviews麻豆果冻传媒>4 12/9/2018Frankford Township School is great! I''m not just saying this because I''m a student here. I''m saying this because it''s true. Over the past few years, the school has improved greatly. The school itself: In the 2-star review, they say there is a terrible gym and gym floor. Since that review, we have gotten new gym flooring. Also as technology has improved, communications have gotten better (emails). We also have just recently gotten a new roof and a new security system. We have also gotten air conditioning in almost all classrooms and new for the 2018-19 year, the entire school got new Chromebooks.Teachers:I have not had a single mean teacher here at Frankford! Frankford hires great teachers and most of them went to school at Frankford. They are also great with responding to and checking emails. Also, there''s a new middle school principal for the 2018-19 school year. The students:There are tons of nice students in Frankford and most of them are good students and get good grades. Unlike most schools, we don''t have many issues with bullying or things like that.Programs:There are lots of great programs at Frankford. We have many clubs and the list just get bigger and bigger each year. These programs are great for students. In conclusion, Frankford Township School is great. I promise that everything in this review is 100% true. I also am not writing this review because I had to or because my school is great, but instead because everyone needs to know what Frankford is really like.Thank You for reading my review. -Kaitlyn L.2 5/17/2016Elementary school is fine, but the junior high school needs improvement. The facilities are below average. Several local schools refuse to play basketball here because the gymnasium is still a multi-purpose room with a cracked tile floor. Mostly, I''m disappointed by the academics at the junior high school level. Requests for study guides are ignored, no notices are sent to remind parents when mid-term progress reports have been posted to the Parent Portal - but we get 2 emails each day telling us that there's a PTA bake sale going on coming up or that the 7th grade jewelry sale deadline is this Friday. Additionally, the lack of communication is so bad that many parents have been shocked by poor report cards. What does it take to send an email? In my opinion, the biggest problem at Frankford is that the school has a small town mentality. Many of the teachers and staff members have grown up here and/or live in town. For parents who work outside of the school system or have grown up in other towns, Frankford appears to be a very chummy work environment where poor teachers are protected and good teachers just kind of stay quiet and mind their own business. You would think that for a school district that has no gangs, where 1/3 of the parents have college degrees and the average income is above median that the school should be much, much better.Review Frankford Township School. Reviews should be a few sentences in length. Please include any comments on:
- Quality of academic programs, teachers, and facilities
- Availability of music, art, sports and other extracurricular activities
