Everyone was nice and decent, teachers and staff. Very wonderful front office. I love how they value security and safety! Excellent Top leadership. With the exception of the New Kindergarten teacher and her assistant. (The other Kindergarten teacher and assistant were soo lovely, we missed out and should've fought to get into her classroom! She is Fantastic!) We were Very dissatisfied with the New Kindergarten teacher. Our child came home everyday having learned a new bad thing and exhausted and drained. Our child went from being a sweet, calm, christian child, to turning into whatever they were exposed to at school, whether it be other children misbehaving or weak leadership or lack of discipline and respect? I was unimpressed with what they were learning and the lack of a clear curriculum and materials to follow daily and weekly. I expressed that and wanting to be more involved to stay on track and ahead on the learning materials. The feedback was the worst part. It should be teamwork between parents and teachers. Good communication helps students and teachers be successful, especially with supportive parents. Unfortunately good communication was lacking. The ambiance given off was very negative. When parents were around the teachers would switch to being fake nice. When they didnt know the parents were around they were mean spirited and ugly. The teacher clearly favored 2 children all year and valued Silence and Obedience over creativity and active learning. If you want your child to have a miserable kindergarten and be a frustrated parent with a disheartened child, go with the New Teacher. If you want a happy, positive learning environment make sure you get the * Another Kindergarten teacher. God bless her!!!
