GTMS is an AMAZING school with dedicated staff and amazing community support. There are no after school sports because Isle of Wight County schools doesn''t offer them in middle school so please don''t blame GTMS. Also there is no travel bus so it makes after school programs difficult to provide.

School lacks in class offerings compared to other VA schools. Most of the 6th grade teachers seem to lack in communication with parents as far as homework assignments, tests, etc. No decent afterschool programs or sports for 6th or 7th graders . Hopefully this being a school with a lot of new teachers next year they will be better organized
