School Reviews麻豆果冻传媒>2 2/22/2010I feel the need to let the parents of our community know the quality of education their children may be exposed to as a first grader at Golden Meadow Lower Elementary School. I can recall fond memories of my early education learning and playing as a happy child. For some reason I do not remember the torment of yelling teachers, 鈥渏ail-like鈥 seating arrangements, and unending homework. For over 6 months, my daughter has endured what I can only describe as hell. This problem was brought to the attention to the school administration and we were assured the problem would be resolved. Still, my daughter cries daily. For the parents of special needs children be aware that part of your child鈥檚 鈥渜uality鈥 education may include frequent yelling or screaming by those staff members 鈥渜ualified鈥 to educate them. Homework, by no means, is meant to be fun and exciting, but does not need to be a nightly tearful journey. Students are being embarrassed for not reading the teacher鈥檚 mind and instead following the directions given on homework assignments. For what reason does my daughter have to endure the fury of an educator unhappy with her job but too close to retirement to find a new career? Why must these students suffer? Students, well my daughter at least, are afraid to speak out about the way they are being treated fearful they may be singled-out or retaliated against. Speaking out to the school has accomplished nothing! As a parent, the best I can do is share this information with fellow parents to hopefully prepare them for the frustration that is our great public school system.Review Golden Meadow Lower Elementary School.
