I am very pleased to say that this school challenges the students abilities and creates an environment that requires parents and children to participate actively. My children have learned and improved a lot. They have wonderful teachers who are extremely caring. Teachers and staff are dedicated to the young minds at Golfcrest. It is a wonderful environment for all students.

Golfcrest Elementary School has over 750 students in grades PK-5. Students are taught by teachers who are experienced and dedicated to providing a quality education. Students attend ancillary classes on a daily basis. These classes are taught by certified teachers and include music, art, physical education, technology, library, and science lab. After school activities take place on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 3:30 - 4:00 for students in first through fifth grade. Students are able to participate in a variety of clubs that include assistance with homework, photography, music, art, and chess. Saturday tutorials begin in October. The facilities are clean and colorful. Parents and community members are welcome to visit and discuss concerns and ideas. They are also encouraged to volunteer to work with students in small reading and math groups and centers.
