What school district is Granite Falls High School part of?
I switched a different school after a year of being at this high school. I had many reasons to switch including harassment. In the eight years I attended school in this district, there was only one year I wasn't bullied. The close-mindedness of this little redneck community is unbelievable. In this town, and at this school it is socially acceptable to call people faggot or to say the N word. Anyways I also switched because I wanted a better education that could get me into a better university. I found this better education at my new school. At Granite, they have a very limited sports program that consists of the most basic sports like football and basketball. The district shows an obvious bias for the Football team. The district built a grandstand at the HS for the football team''s moral. This team doesn't even do well in their league, last year they won 2 out of 7 games, not something to be proud of. Instead of paying for such an expensive stadium tye could've paid off other programs that actually do good like FBLA, FFA, or the band. Though my overall experience and I was bad, I had a few great teachers and I learned how to deal with ignorance.

This school is good, idk why people rate this school badly. There is virtually no bullying, harrasment, or bad behavior. And if there is, thats not the schools fault its the parents and the child.

The principle of this school,2008, told our child to leave and not come back. We are proud to report that Christopher Larken is getting straight A's and recently was nominated for homecoming king. Obviously the principle made a mistake but the end result is fabulous. Our son is happy with his new school.
