What school district is Grayson High School part of?
I am a black male student at Grayson Highschool, and I am currently a senior. I personally have never experienced or even heard of any of the things the previous reviewer has talked about. I have enjoyed my experience at Grayson Highschool and have many friends from all different races, and my highschool is a majority miniority so its hard not to have friends from every background. I love Grayson and her closed mindedness is dissapointing. I'm not saying there isn't any racism becuase there always will be from all sides. It just sounds like the previous reviewer has some greivances with Grayson and she unfairly accuses them of untrue things and I have seen no evidence of this or heard of this from any other students. The previous reviewer is clearly biased and doesn't give credit to the school. Grayson is great and better then my old highschool in Norcross.

I went to Grayson Elementery School, McConnell Middle School and Grayson High. So I basically stayed in the district for a number of years. by the time i got to high school, i could no longer bear the system. I had to leave Grayson high school after i completed my tenth grade year simply because the students and teachers are very prejuduiced and racist. I live less that 1 minute from Grayson high school, but i was so uncomfortable i transferred to peachtree ridge high school which was a 30 minute drive everyday, but i was the happiest person in the world. there are some thet treat everyone the same, but that is only very few. I would only reccomend this school to white students simply because they are the only ones who will fit in and be treated with respect. Being a black girl, i have experienced mistreatment, and daily prejiduce from students and teachers. I have a friend who had milk purposely spit in her face by a white studant and when it was brought to the attention of the administrators it was all forgotten about when he said "i wont do it again". but any african american student who does the same will get behaviorial consequences. The dress code is written in agenda books but the only people they enforce it on are the young black girls and boys when the white ones are simply let off. This is a racist school, a racist area of town,a racist environment overall and it is not diverse. Dont let the black miss freshman fool you. they have pageant winners that are of color but they still continue to treat every other one with disrespect. I think they fail to realize that times have changed and it is no longer "alright" to treat people with disrespect simply because of the color of their skin. So if you are a white person looking to rear your child to grow to hate and disrespect all different races......... then grayson is the school and area for you.
