What school district is Harbordale Elementary School part of?
Harbordale is pretty special and unique. I have already experienced several schools with my son, who is now in 5th grade at Harbordale and it remains the school to beat. Parent participation is very high and we have a volunteer group for almost anything you might be interested in. The students feel safe at this school. Their safety measures surpass most schools. They are thoughtful in their approach to parents on campus. The old principal was incredible and the new principal, Mrs. Kashdin is equally caring and thoughtful. The reading program, the media center that allows kids to become news anchors, and the fundraisers that give the kids pride in promoting the school equally teaching them philanthropy, are all just a small part of the cohesive organized nature of the school.
