School Reviews

Hiram Johnson has really taken a turn for the best with 4th yr. Principal Kirkland, the school has been improving academically every year since. The high school has added new young influential teachers & programs, a football field with a new baseball field to be completed by the start of the 2021 school year. My granddaughter graduated this year ( 4.0 GPA) and heading off to college thanks to her hard work her teachers and theater class which she loved the most. Yes, it does have a bad rep from years past, but that is behind us and I'm proud to recommend this H.S. to anyone. A school is only as good as their parent's support.

The education my son received at Hiram Johnson was like none other. The teachers were key influential figures tremendous in the success of my son's acceptance into UC Berkeley. The stories you hear about Hiram Johnson are not true. They are really trying to work towards becoming the pride of their community. My daughter currently attends Hiram Johnson and sees a culture change occurring on campus. The teachers, students, staff, and administration are working hard to build a family not just at the school, but around the community. It is up to the parents of the students at Hiram Johnson to step it up now and contribute to this cause and dismantle the cataclysms surrounding Hiram Johnson High School.
