In reply to the above mentioned person (Donan) You have to be greatly misguided . Your comments cannot be farthest from the truth. Indian Land Elementary is a great school and does not its fair recognition. Teachers and students work very hard to compete with other schools despite our disadvantages to other school districts. Demographics are changing and our school will help to bring students along to the standards of other children. I know a few teachers that work in Fort Mill and the performance and learning environment is comparable our great school.

We bought a home IL in 2010. This school may be satisfactory if your child performs at grade level but if they are bright then it's better to make an investment and educate them elsewhere. My daughter spends most of her day waiting for the rest of the class to catch up. The problem is that they never catch up. If buying a home in this area, dig deeper and don't listen to realtors telling you that the schools are great. The great schools are in Fort Mill and that is a different county
