What school district is John A Dubiski Career High School part of?
I worked at Dubiski over 5 years. Student-teacher ratio is 35-40 to 1 in every classroom. Teachers are pressured to just pass them To keep a high percentage of passing students. Many students there have to repeat math and English classes repeatedly before graduating. Rats in teacher lounge and roaches in many classrooms. Over crowded. Many teachers don't have classrooms and teach in the hallways. Kids smoke Marijuana in the building and put it in the brownies during culinary class to sell to other kids every year. Have a new head principal every 2 Years. Many classes have no teacher at all for first 2 months of school, they just leave kids completely unsupervised. Some teachers cuss at kids and call them demeaning names. 1st graders in same hallways with high school kids, get exposed to inappropriate content. No music and no sports programs.
