School Reviews麻豆果冻传媒>5 9/14/2020Under the direction of Dr. Spiri, KCMS has really become a school I feel great about sending my kids too. Teachers are engaged and dedicated and work hard to make middle school a positive experience for these kids. The Kent Community program is especially awesome - kids get to pick an area of focus (arts, the environment, sports, etc) and once a month they get together in that group and engage in the community in some way. The STEM program is also great (and rigorous). Teachers also do a good job of sponsoring clubs that kids want to start. Generally, the academic rigor probably isn't as high as it could be, but given that there are many students with economic disadvantages and the related issues that come with that, the school does a good job of meeting kids at their level. Grateful to have such a warm and caring staff. Teachers and staff make a practice of sending (through the mail) little congratulations and positive shout outs to kids for good deeds.1 1/28/2020I recommend that they give students actual food because a lot of my students have found hair and things that they don't know what it is that is in their food.4 8/26/2019The teachers are supportive and amazing. They reach out to the parents about both concerns and positive reports. The school offers many different clubs and after school activities that the teachers volunteer their time to run. Students are happy and rewarded for their positive behavior and academic successes. The administration is fair when dealing with the students. For a tiny school in a tiny county- you can't beat this public school. All teachers are certified and highly qualified (unlike the private schools in the area).5 4/6/2019I don''t know who this "Brian" teacher is- as I have been teaching in this school since before this post and do not know of any teachers that have that first name. However, I will say this- Our middle school has greatly improved over the years. It offers students opportunities to to learn and grow in a safe place. Bullying is NOT an issue at our school and our current administration takes this topic VERY SERIOUSLY. Teachers work very hard to provide students with engaging lessons and we have amazing programs to offer.2 6/9/2015The bullying problem in this school is terrible kids are getting bullied left and right. I would suggest finding another option for your children this school is unfit for kids to work in. They hardly give you any education there and I'm a teacher and that's saying a lot. They don't do anything about the bullying problem they just let it happen like its nothing.Review Kent County Middle School. Reviews should be a few sentences in length.
