We LOVE this school! We have two kids - 1st & 4th grades. We switched for the 2014-2015 school year from a local catholic school because we were not happy with the schools responsiveness to our children's educational needs. From day 1 we have had positive experiences at Laurel Woods. The teachers are excellent and truly care. Our children are being continually evaluated to ensure the school is doing everything they can to ensure their academic success. One of them is getting extra help in math (Bridges Program) while at the same time being put into GT for reading; the other is receiving speech therapy while recently being put into a higher level of instruction for math. We can't say enough wonderful things about both the administration and the teachers. THIS is what public education is supposed to be all about. Way to go LWES!
