My son has only recently been able to talk about his experience at this school. When he attended 1st and 2nd grade here, he was emotionally abused. He was made to cut the grass outside with scissors in the heat, humiliated in front of his peers daily, and threatened with retaliation if he told us any of this. The abuse was encouraged by the then principal. He is still working through the things that happened to him at Live Oak. If anyone else has had a similar experience, I would welcome hearing about it.
