Absolutely a great school with an amazing supportive/caring staff. Principal Floyd has created a positive environment for teachers and students. The teachers have all been top notch. We moved from the suburbs (from 2 high-scoring school districts) and feared the Seattle school system. We seriously considered sending our son to private school but decided to give the public school a chance - well we are sure glad we did! The school has been extraordinary in performance - the staff is dynamic and caring for all their students. We felt that he had such individualized attention and the staff truly care about the development of each of their students. From the front office staff to each teacher I felt it has been a great experience for our son. It actually has restored my faith in the school system. Our other experience has been bleak - though we were in great "high-scoring" schools in the past I always felt that the staff and school cared more about testing and raising their test scores and woe for the student that struggles with school.
