I have two children at Luxmanor and I have found the school to be worth the hype that I heard before moving into the area. Being a firm believer in public schools, I have done my research in what schools have good rankings. The Luxmanor Family is supportive and outgoing. My children feel safe and have been involved in a number of activities. Given that I believe that it takes a community to help make a school great, Luxmanor definitely has an advantage. The facilities are great, the faculty is accessible and open to discussions and suggestions. They've all been a click of the mouse away. I've enjoyed the experience and more importantly, my two children are enjoying their elementary school years.

We have been extremely disappointed with Luxmanor, even though they are supposed to be the best school in Montgomery County. A lot of people sing the praises of this school, but I assume that has a lot to do with not wanting the value of their homes to drop. The teachers are good to fair. The administration is good to fair. The school is really safe and really clean. The parental involvement is amazing. The extra-curricular activities are excellent. However, it is just not worth it considering all the problems that are there and are being hidden. It is a shame that so many parents there feel they are being blamed. I will tell you one thing: If you send your child to Luxmanor, you'd better be prepared to tell everyone in that school that Luxmanor is the best school in the world, with the best teachers in the world, with the best administrators in the world, and the nicest parents in the world. If you don't put on that act when you are there, you will have hell to pay.
