What school district is Mainland Regional High School part of?
My family and I are in the process of relocating and my daughter will be entering freshman year come fall, being that I'm not from this area, selecting the best high school for her was a huge challenge because I know what's she's capable of academically and was looking for the best option(no different then any other parent who wants nothing but the best ) I wanted to get it right so I requested a shadow day for my daughter to " test the waters" so to say .. The director of guidance was quick to respond after leaving a message. He set her up with the perfect freshman to shadow. He took the time to answer all my questions and even sat with me to discuss school pride, electives, after school activities, academics, regristration for close to 2 hrs.. I was sold at about 30 min but my only hope was that my daughter felt the same way of course I wouldn't know and would have to wait ..6 hrs.. The agony.. after the long wait I went to pick her up and well she was happy as a bird .. Turns out the girl that my daughter was shadowing had many common interest was in the band and was super friendly and my daughter felt nothing but welcomed by the other students they were friendly and polite when I walked around the school.. You can sense the commodory at this school.. I feel very positive about my decision and I know that my daughter is looking forward to having a wonderful 4 years!
