The teachers are awesome and the academics are challenging.2 4/5/2010parents are micromanagers, school has no accountablility, teachers let their political views be known, to the children. Parents are allowed to use their money and time to influence what teacher they want for their children.2 4/2/2008academics are above average, depending on the teacher. Parent are very competitive about getting those teachers. art- is good. PE, not challenging. Faciclities-are old, disconnected and very open, without any security or monitoring who is on campus. Parents, would not follow monioring rules if asked. The school looks good superficially, but if challenged with anything greater than applying a band-aid they are incompetent. There are problems internally too. There are power struggles and comunication problems extending to the District.Review Marquez Charter. Reviews should be a few sentences in length.
