Meramec Hieghts is an AWESOME school! We have a band that Mr. Pippin teaches, and everyone in band LOVES IT!! Our school has an archery team that my friends and I have always wanted to be on. One of my friends have been in archery 2 years in a row becuase he loves it so much. We came in 3rd place this year. We have a Garden Club, wich I take part in, where we plant and just have fun doing it! There is a Charecter Council wich I took part in last year and it was a very fun expirience. We went down to the nursery home for St. Patrick's Day and entertained them and everyone seemed to enjoy it. We also have a Track Team and almost EVERYONE wans to get into that. The gym teacher, Mrs Palecek, leads it. Girls on the run is also an activity that many girls enjoy. The anual Science Fair is a very big thing for grades 5-6. I took part in it this year and it was very eventful. Everyone loved doing thier science projects and getting to see what their friends did. Mrs. Kiesker taught us well this year and we all hope we will do just as good if not better next year. Our parent club helps in a lot of occasions. My mom isn't in the parent club, but she helps out when she can. Everyone at Meramec Hieghts loves it there and never want to leave. And that includes me. :) I love learning all kinds of new things every day and getting to see the delight in the teachers' eyes when we kids come to school prepared and confident, ready for any task our teacher puts ahead of us. This is the best school I have ever been to and I wish I could stay forever. But everyone grows up and leaves elementry school, I guess.
