The school serves spans grades 9-12. The High School is undergoing renovations to help with the growing population in Northampton. Northampton High School is widely known as one of the best wrestling schools in the nation. Northampton is one of the leading schools in State PIAA wrestling championships. Northampton High School competes in the Lehigh Valley Conference in the District XI athletic division of the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association. The school's athletic teams are known as the "Konkrete Kids", which is consciously misspelled (controversally so when abbriviated) and references Northampton's tradition as a large U.S. manufacturer of cement.
