As a parent I was very concerned about sending my son to OMMS and did not for his 6th grade year. We decided to try our home school for 7th grade and have been very pleased. The teachers and staff have been amazing and my son's test scores are the highest they have ever been. Kudos to all the hard work I see being put into the school and our children!

This school isn't perfect no school is, but for people to sit there and criticize my school is terrible. the teachers don't let us kiss and hug and if someone were to be making out infront of a teacher and the teacher or principal would stop them. What I see are dedicated teachers. Kids in sixth grade or seventh and eighth grade will fight.... ITS MIDDLE SCHOOL. I believe that most kids are leaving well I know why they are leaving. The kids and their families are MOVING..... It has nothing to do with the quality of the school. Each kid is in a safe environment. So get over it middle school is that change between child and teenager and things break out if you think because two kids pushed each other and some teachers stopped it before anything happened and you think it's unsafe and you decide that you going to take your child out of that school that is safe and take them away from friends I''m sorry for you. I''m going to the 3rd and final year of middle school(8th grade) and I''m glad I''m going to be going to OLD MILL MIDDLE SOUTH

i came from a new state to old mil middle south and i feel like this is where i belong. they counslers teachers and staff all make sure we keep god grades. Yes it has flaws but what school don't. we have fights yeah so what we all stay safe and take care of the situation. Even the janitors and lunch ladies help out. i had trouble on a homework problem and the jaintor seen me and came up to me and said dear let me help you. its a really nice school with great kids and staff so pLease just because you don't like it blame it on the school because they are doing all they can and things change. OMMS IS A AMAZING SCHOOL COMING FROM A DETROIT GIRL I WAS NICELY WELCOMED THANKS OMMS.

O.M.M.S.S. is a awful school. I know every school has flaws but this school has so many I would lose count. I am planning to switch to private schools because this school has drug attics that are only in the 7th grade, curse words on walls, awful teachers, and no fun activities. Some of the teachers are very rude. You may find a few good teachers like Mrs. Super, Ms. Harrington, and Ms. Wyhatt but a lot of the other teachers are very mean and make this school horrible. Also, the schools sports are completely ignored the basketball has never had a practice (and it's the end of the school year) and they never talk about the sports on announcements. The principals have great ideas for things to do at the school but they never inforce them. The school could be a TERRIFIC school but the way things are looking now, Old Mill will lose students. Also, in only the 6th grade fist fights have broken out. 7th graders say nasty things to younger 6th grade students, and the school allows KISSING AND HUGGING. I was walking to my bus when I saw a 8th grade couple making out next to a bus right in front of principals. This school is completely messed up! Even some teachers are weird. For example, for our Patriot Period we were sent to a 7th grade teacher. When we got in the room we looked at the word wall and saw some very nasty words on it. Now this is a science teacher not a pervert teacher! Now if you want your child to have fun, be safe, be educated, and love school! DO NOT send them to Old Mill Middle School SOUTH!
