School Reviews
1   9/3/2019
All of our children are at the Lakeside Elementary Campus this year. Its the first 2 weeks of school, and I got a phone call telling me I can't walk my second grader to her classroom, the reason given: Well we don't have any other parents who do that Most of the parents pick up in the car loop We don't allow parents to go down to the classroom. It's unnecessary for you to come into the building because none of the other parents do Me: Is this written somewhere? Is this a policy in the handbook or someone I could have read this policy? Them: Well we want them to be independent so we don't allow parents to do that. normally parents wait in the office So let me get this straight Because other people don't do it, I am not allowed? When have my husband and I give you charge over developing our children's character? That is our job. Your job is basic education. Period. Our children do not belong to you or your building. Kindly refrain from acting as if they do.
