I''ve graduated and I could promise you that this is the best school you could send your kid to! They have programs you could put your kids in such as FDC, 21st Century and they also have ELA programs to put your children in for help! Though the time during COVID was rough and I didn''t have the motivation to do work since being inside distracted me a lot I still managed to get help from my teacher and friends. Haha, I know it may sound cringy when I say it but trust me they helped a lot! They also have something called Star student assembly this sometimes makes other students feel like they haven''t really done anything good but they have an honors roll assembly too. Homework is really not a big deal well in the grading of course but it''s sweet and simple! But the winter/spring packets oh lord The teachers at this school are amazing! I don''t want to say their names for personal reasons so I''ll say the first initials. Kindergarten teachers (All of them! They all are caring and nice.) 1st-grade teachers ( I didn't pay attention to the other ones but I had Ms.L and she was a great teacher!)2nd grade (Same thing for first grade I had Ms.D an amazing teacher)3rd grade (I didn''t want to be biased but Ms.W was one of my favorite teachers in the school. She''s so nice but don''t take her kindness for granted )4th (Ms.S and Ms.L! Let me tell you about Ms.L she''s so nice and fun! She''s also really funny too but not afraid to put you in your place so don''t think about goofing out. Ms.S was very nice and the same goes for her what I said for Ms.L.)5th (The best teachers know who they are I don''t need to tell them!)I haven''t really gotten bullied but there are some teasers so teachers please try to tell them to stop. Adding onto that PHONE CALLS ARE A BIGGG NO-NO FOR SOME STUDENTS!! Some parents are really strict I''m talking beat ya till the grades on that paper turn into a 60 to 90. If kids are crying real hard bc of a phone call? You will know what''s up: The school builds character! For me it did can''t speak for others this school also helps people with learning differences! Ms.D helped students a lot with that! (that speak other languages ofc!) also helped students with disabilities!! And at last leadership! This school is literally all bout leadership!! I''m running out of words but since school is in 1 month I thought of making this! This school is one of the best schools you could send your child to so don''t think twice bout it! Multiple students helped write this (4 only )

We love PS 315. My son is happy in 1st grade at the school. His teachers strive to make the class engaging and interactive. They are really caring and supportive. I'm amazed by how much he is learning this year. He has music, art, dance, gym and even has a weekly class with the Dance Theatre of Harlem. The school community is very welcoming and warm. The PTA is growing and there are many ways to get involved. An amazing, large new playground will be finished in May - with new equipment, a track, basketball and outdoor classroom. The school Administration is really responsive to the parents.

I am happy with 315, as are my 4- and 6-year-old boys who attend. I've been on the PTA for 2 years now, and we are growing a community of dedicated, caring parents. My favorite things about the school is the diversity, the PTA, and the fact that there is a strong, positive vibe at the school. I noticed it the first time I visited, and it's only gotten better. The biggest opportunity for improvement is on school-parent communication and healthy food options, but we are focused on both of these, and improving quickly.

My daughter attends this school and we are very happy there. She has gotten great teachers in Pre-K and Kindergarten and the staff really care about the kids. There is a growing PTA that has become more effective each year.

Academics is ok but the behavior of the kids is out of control. Teachers are not very attentive and have no control on the kids. The principal is great though I must say.
