I served as a mentor to a student at this school. To his and my dismay, the teacher who was assigned to teach English went on a leave of absence and was not replaced by a competent English teacher. Instead, a person who was not an English teacher was assigned to the class. His job was not to teach but simply maintain order. The students in this class were virtually robbed of the essential need to learn English. I complained about this to the administration, who incompetently replied they had no one to replace the absent teacher. What a disgrace! The school should be shut down.
