What school district is Penn Valley Elementary School part of?
We have nothing but praise for Penn Valley. Our son has ADHD and they have been tremendous with him. He was behind with his reading and by he end of the year he was almost advanced thanks to their hard work. Mrs J has a heart of gold and is perfect for 1st graders. The title one program is amazing and Mrs Lake did wonders for our son. We are so happy to be at this school and very thankful for their efforts.

A-Penn Valley Elementary School does not have an adequate academic standard. The children do not learn math or spelling in a traditional manner. The entire educational process is based on the state test the PSSA. The kids are taught what will be on the test and how to answer so that the school's scores will be high. B-The school has music, instruments, and arts. There are no sports at this level but the gym program is very good. Over the last few years the school has eliminated classroom parties for holidays. In fact, everything during the school day must involve academics or the event is not allowed. C-I believe that some awards are given out but parents are not allowed to attend. D-The school itself is fairly new has air conditioning. The early year classrooms have their own bathrooms in the classroom. E-Parents over the last few years have become less involved because the school has literally shut them out. As a result when the parents are needed there tends to be less support because they are not allowed to attend holiday sings, award presentations etc.
