Over all the school is OK but the way they dealt with bullying was terrible. They thought that if they put a stronger definition around the word that they could just ignore it and pride themselves for having a low bullying rate, but the amount of name calling and death threats that I got for being a fag was crazy. Then there was one teacher that could not go a class period without telling the class her opinions about the politics she saw on the news that morning if not that she would just leave and not come back until the bell rang.

Bullying is not dealt with at this school. Some teachers have bully attitudes toward kids, and my children were also bullied by other students. Teachers were notified and the problem continued. Would take my children elsewhere..

My son has an eye condition that interferes with his ability to learn . I have always had trouble trying to get anyone to believe he has an eye condition that causes his problems and that it is not add/ADHD. I am shocked by the fact that all they want to believe is that children who can' t focus or pay attention in class have ADD/ADHD and need to be medicated. Medication can't fix my child's eye disorder. If you have a similar problem try looking up covd(center of vision and development) on the internet. There are eye disorders that can cause symptoms similar to ADD/ADHD or take your child to an eye doctor for a developmental eye exam.
