I feel like it is the state that lacks funding for the children, whatever happened to no child left behind. This is a good school and the teachers are over worked and under paid. Before you know it the teachers will be gone and the students will be taking courses online, there goes the structure of school. I really hope that my child gets to walk across the stage and be proud to have that experience. Lets keep fighting for our community and keep our schools open.

River Forest may not have the best technology department, new resources, or a variety of classes. But, we are a family. A family that looks after each and one another. I feel it is not the schools fault, but our own state funding is the problem. The State of Indiana cuts out millions of dollars from Education every year, that is the real problem. I love this school, but I don't want to see it close in the future. If you are an involved parent, please call the state. That is where the real problem begins and the student and staff, pay the price. I am currently attending River Forest as an 8th grade alumni and planning to graduate, then proceed to Ball State University.

River Forest does not compare academically to other schools in the area, they lack the resources, and teaching staff to provide these children with a proper education. In Athletics its about who you know not your experience in the sport or as a coach, they have the school Janitor coaching all the sports programs just to fill the spot. Spend some money and hire someone with knowledge.
