What school district is Round Hill Elementary School part of?
Found out how the town of New Windsor is broken up into three different school districts. Cornwall, Newburgh, and Washingtonville. When we had our home built, there were no children, and we didn't look at that aspect. Apparently I'm not in Cornwall or Newburgh, which I can be in in 5 minutes, but Washingtonville 20-30 minutes away. So close, but on the ''wrong'' side of the line. To my dismay, the ratings of schools in Washingtonville are abysmal. The actual schools are even worse than state testing can score. We're looking to move out of this school district, and even if we have to downgrade a little with maybe an older home, so be it. I 100% understand what people mean by location and the importance of being in the right school district. I'll apologize to my kids every day until I get them where they need to be.
