San Mateo Park School is a school that makes a difference. We certainly could afford a private school, but we couldn't find a school that offered a more dedicated team of teachers, a talented (commanding yet very connected) principal, a superior math and science curriculum (with teams that compete successfully in local and state competitions); math, science, international and just plain fun school events; and a widely diverse group of dedicated students, teachers and parents. My kindergartner taught me that egg laying animals are called oviporous which she learned in this learning segment on ducks. The K classes have incubators and are leaning all about a duck's lifecycle. This is a great school for my daughter!
