I have to say, this school is awesome! I went to SMS before, and I am currently a senior at SHS. I have never once been bullied, and everyone is pretty nice! I recommend this school to anyone! It is also nice that they have many different electives, sports, and other great opportunities. I absolutely LOVE this school!

This school is seemingly ok. It takes 3 years of being inside to realize its shortcomings. The school is MAJORLY underfunded. There are few staff who stay. Every year there have been at least 4 teachers/faculty cut (retired, early retirement, or fired) and none of which have been replaced. The administration tries very hard but they miss a LOT of bullying/harassment. When reported, There is only one principle who seemingly tries to make you feel better. (Main Principle)The rest just get your statement and send you on your way. If you are at all not the in crowd you are destined to be teased. I guess this is a common thing for all high schools, but this one has many violent threats from kids who should not be there. Some of the students who are threatening are brushed off as a warning because of their sport status. There are also many students from the alternative school who hang out there and create an unsafe environment because of the bussing (they are dropped off here). Overall, if you have the option to homeschool or to attend another school I STRONGLY suggest it. Also many Tech programs have been cut due to lack of funding.
