School Reviews

My son is attending 6th grade at SFCMS this year. He had a hard time adjusting to the school the first week, but seems to like it so far. He looks forward to having health and PE with Ms. Ashley and says the SRO officer and Ms. Ashley make going to school fun. I like the uniforms and how students are held accountable to keep their appearances nice and neat. The school does need to have a better procedure for afternoon pickups. There needs to more than the one teacher to help direct traffic (especially at the end of the line). Students need to be loaded into their cars in a fast and efficient way. Parents need to be mindful to move up in the line to allow the cars in the back of the line to move up and away from the street traffic. I also would like to see more security cameras throughout campus and the school should have a buddy system in placed for when students need to go to a different building during instructional time. There are a lot of cars outside and it is not safe for a student to be walking by him/herself with no adult supervision outside. I have heard positive comments about the school so that is why I decided to enroll my child at SFCMS. I believe the students and families attending this school know and value the importance of a good education.
