What school district is Socastee Elementary School part of?
I have 2 children at Socastee Elementary each in different grades each of my kids classrooms has 22 kids in one and 23 in the other! I don't know of any of the class rooms having less than the above except for the special education classes. I wish it was 16 kids to one!! I feel like the teachers are way over loaded and do not have the time for the individual attention that kids need. I also feel they lack the time to keep each parent properly informed. 22/23 students per teacher should never be tolerated. I take the extra steps for the success of my children but not all parents can. I understand growth but not at the expense of my kids education. Yes I my kids are on a waiting list for a school with less per class.
