School Reviews麻豆果冻传媒>5 6/10/2017Great school2 10/27/2014I am the guardian of my granddaughter who started this school this Tierra Buena school year in the 5th grade. At her prior school she was A/B student, Student Body Vice President, and was classified as a GATE student due to her high marks on the tests. She was very well liked by all staff and this year has gone back to that school after her school is out and helps younger students and staff .
Now at Tierra Buena this year she is not doing as well according to 4 of her teachers who told us today that she was disruptive, stubborn and argumentative, what a shock.
The one teacher she has 2 periods a day admitted that he will no answer some questions for her and tells her to look it up, I thought teachers were to help the students. Additionally he she doesn't understand something he tells her, you should have been listening. Gee, I guess he has never been confused by what someone has said, I know I sure have at times.
This child is not perfect and does make mistakes which is what kids do.
I spoke to the Principal about it but he just referred me to have a meeting with the teacher which I did but it resolved nothing.
I do not appreciate the attitude of the teacher, his style of teaching or his superior attitude.
The Principal has been of no assistance either.
I do not believe this is going to be a positive learning experience for her so I am going to have to be a little more assertive on my part.
I believe the next time I have to meet with any of the staff at this school I will be accompanied by an attorney.
If there is any way you can avoid sending your child to this school I highly recommend you go to another school. I know the outcome of my experience will not be a positive one but I am going to do my best to try and have changes made so other children do not become victims of this incompetent staff.Review Tierra Buena Elementary School.
