What school district is Vicksburg High School part of?
I have been teaching at Vicksburg High for the past several years. It is a terrible school, but far the worst of the four I have taught at. The administration talks a good game, but is ineffective and ethically bankrupt. The superintendent is incompetent. Teachers are bullied and assaulted by students daily and nothing is seriously done to discipline the children. There are gangs of thugs which roam the halls. The administration spends its time and resources on extracurricular activities, health fares, and haunted houses, in an insane academy system which students don't care about which places all the workload on the teachers instead of focusing on academics which may actually help our students. When my son is old enough to attend high school in two years, he will not be attending Vicksburg HS as I would fear for his safety.
