School Reviews麻豆果冻传媒>2 3/1/2021This school is very overrated. We were very surprised to find out public school students were far more advanced than this IB school. The school is really about presenting an image of academic excellence to appease all the wealthy residents of Westlake. They will find a reason to expel you if you don't contribute money to the school. The teachers here are not up to standard in general. Many lack communication skills Again the purpose of the school is to create an image of superior academics so wealthy parents can proclaim their children are better than those in public schools. Nothing could be farther from the truth. Many teachers here don't even understand the IB curriculum themselves. My advice is Stay Away.4 3/26/2020My kids are happy to head off to Westlake Academy in the morning. That was not the case prior to us moving to Westlake. The boys are prepping for their SAT's. The school administration is very engaged in their efforts. The college placement director has been wonderful to work with. The relative small size of the student population is a huge positive for our family.5 4/6/2019This school is fantastic. 70% of students are accepted via lottery. Thousands apply each year with the hopes to get in. US News and World Report has ranked them as high as #9 nationally. It seems there was an issue with a teacher and or administrator in 2015, but that is meaningless today. The school isn''t magically immune to every day problems. This school is indeed a blessing in every way. Know that it is rural, and K-12. There''s not 1500 students, and football stadiums reaching to the heavens. It''s a small, education focused, IB world school that teaches it''s students to be lifelong learners, leaders, open minded and internationally minded, risk takers, and so much more. I wish I had the opportunity to go to school there when I was young. Very, very happy with this place.5 5/21/2015This is an amazing school. They teach my children to think for themselves. They are not teaching to the test like some neighbor school districts. I am very happy with this school.2 4/27/2015This is a poorly run school. They claim to have an IB curriculum but the school is run by parents demands. I am removing my child from this school.Review Westlake Academy. Reviews should be a few sentences in length.
