WHS parents are not overly involved, but they are involved with their kids' education and activities pretty often. Extracurricular activities are pretty available. You can find almost anything that matches your interests. The debate team is great. It's gone to state several times in the past 10 years. Some of the facilities need major improvement, while others look nice. The academic programs have gone downhill since I was there. The kids either get too much homework or very little homework. They're either extremely challenged in their classes or not challenged enough. WHS hasn't made AYP for the past 3 years, so it's currently kinda up in the air as to what will happen to it.
