This school isn't that great when it comes to students' personal needs, there are no phones allowed whatsoever and if a teacher even sees your phone's outline in your pocket, you're sent to ALC or ISS, If you're late to class, you can't even go to that class, this school is full of BS, worst school I've ever been to, glad I'm moving away.

So far it hasn't been a great experience for my child. If you are considering this school, I recommend you speak to someone of your same race and/or financial class before deciding. Depending upon your race and financial status, you will have vastly different experiences at this school. I know because I did that, wasn't sure I believed some of it, turns out, it definitely seems as if there is some racial disparity going on. As far this being the best academic school in the county, we'll that depends on what you consider being of importance in your child's academic endeavors. Personally I would rather you actually teach my kid and ride their but about school work than worry about test scores and send kids out of class for trivial things. Seems like sending kids out of class and giving them ISS and OSS used to be reserved for the kids who bullied, got into fights, cussed the teachers out, smoked in the bathroom, skipped class, etc.... not for the kids who forgot their Chromebook when you weren't using it that day, anyway. But maybe I'm just old school and test scores matter more. You decide.

If you aren't from around here you are called "off" and ostracized by the student body and teachers. They bully you into conforming - STEPFORD WIVES! The dress code is CONFUSING! If you are liked you can wear whatever you want. If you are "off" or not liked by the administration/faculty, you are harassed. Academics are tough but my child who was a B student before is now all As and not because the school made her better but because she finds the classes much easier!
